Today saw the Grand Opening of the nature trail through the woods at Jimmy’s Farm with Jimmy giving a short speech and cutting the ribbon in front of quite a few visitors and the BBC crew filming for the second documentary series. Cadets from the squadron had helped prepare the trail, garden and pond leading up to the day with a Sunday and two Wednesday evenings in July so it was good to see the finished article being used and enjoyed by everyone.
It was an incredibly busy day necessitating the opening of a second field in order to park all the cars. Thanks go to Cadets Barham, Squirrell, Ellis and Eley.
Photos are in the gallery.

Cadets and staff of 188 Squadron went to RAF Sealand on 6 August for the annual week-long summer camp. There was a large selection of activities going on including air experience flying, shooting, hillwalking, drill, ten pin bowling and a flight in a Chinook helicopter. A selection of the hundreds of photos taken can be found in the Photo Gallery.
Glad you all enjoyed yourselves, we’ll be visiting Trefyn again in October for any who missed it!
