Hill Walking in Snowdonia

The Squadron made its second visit to Wales for the year and this time visited the hills of Snowdonia.
Along with cadets from 188 (Ipswich) Squadron were cadets from 432 (Woodbridge) and 1331 (Stowmarket) Squadrons. They all travelled down to Wales in the Squadron Minibus to what was to be a great weekend of walking. The weather held out for the walkers and they managed to get out and in to the hills all weekend and also had some time to enjoy some indoor climbing at a nearby centre.
Also travelling with the walkers was a Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award group participating in the qualifying walk for the award. For them they spent 3 days walking and 2 nights out under stars, unlike the other walkers that spent the evenings back at an Army training camp.
