Wing Athletic Championships

The Wings athletics were once again held in Bury St Edmunds, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side and we had to put up with some terrible rain showers and the resulting surface water on the track events.

The day consisted of all the usual events on the track and field and although we never came home with any group tropheys we did have some success individually, with Cpl Cook and Cdt Parsley(f) going on to represent the Wing at Regional level.

Below are the achievements of those cadets that took part in the day:

Cpl Reynolds, Bronze Medal in Class B Boys High Jump.
Cpl Pugh, Silver Medal in the Class C 800m.
Cpl Cook, Gold Medal in the Class C 1500m.
Cdt Parsley(f), Gold Medal in the Girls 100m and a Silver Medal in the Girls High Jump.
