Thorpe Woodlands

On the 15th & 16th July 2006, 12 cadets from the Squadron ventured on an Initial Expedition Training Course. The course took place at the Thorpe Woodlands Camp Site near Thetford and all 12 cadets spent the weekend under canvas in tents.

The weekend consisted of the basics of camping & outdoor skills, which included map reading skills. To complete the weekend the cadets took part in the High Ropes course also situated on-site and consists of 4 different 25ft. ropes challenges suspended amoung the trees that make up Thetford forest.

The weekend saw some great weather and all that attened enjoyed themselves and hopefully went away learning some new skills.
